My size will be also 18" (I am 180cm tall) Before I made a decision to buy AMS 110 Race I was thinking about hard tail - Reaction Race , but many people encouraged me to look around for full suspension bike . I hope this AMS is a good choice and much better nowadays than hardtail. Any advice how to can I easily lower the weight of AMS 110 Race (12,1kg withoud pedals) to the similar weight to AMS 110 SL (11,7kg) ?? I can not see what can cause such big difference ? AMS 110 SL is on deore XT group whereas 110 Race on SRAM X0 ... Sram is Lighter ? :/ REBA in 110 Race is heavier than Fox Factory 32 Float FIT RLC in AMS SL ? :/ How it is possible that AMS 110 SL is lighter ? I suppose the frame is exactly the same ? :/
To lose weight best tire change. I carry a ztr with bushings notubes circus monkey of 1411 grms both. Sram do not know if it's league, but for me it is the best Rl Rebal lighter than Fox. How You guys enjoy riding AMS110 on paved surface ? Do You have some 'boobing' when hard pedalling ? :/ What is Your weight and how You adjusted Fox RP23 (I mean pressure) ? What setting 1-2-3 You prefer the most? And I still wonder what makes AMS 110 SL lighter than AMS 110 Race ? :/ I see that AMS 110 Race comes with DT CSW MA 1.0 straightpull wheelset (can not find what is the weight of these) and AMS 110 SL comes with DT CSW MA 2.0 wheelset . This is why AMS 110 SL is lighter almost 400g ? :/
Bienvenido seas!!!! Respecto al manillar, yo se lo quité el primer día que la compré porque es una barbaridad. Lo mejor es cortarlo si no tienes otro. Respecto a las Rocket Ron, intenté darles una oportunidad para no cambiarlas nuevas y me pegué tal ostión que las cambié con 5 salidas. Te aconsejo que las quites ya!!!

Hola Señores, Me está picando el gusanillo de montar unas ruedas de 27,5" en la AMS 110 SL. Alguno de vosotros lo ha hecho? Qué os parece la idea?

Llevo FOX, por lo que la horquilla no sería un problema. Respecto al post que comentas no hay ninguna AMS 110.
Entonces mira el radio de la circunferencia de la rueda que vayas a montar y mide el espacio que te quede libre atrás. No conozco a nadie que haya realizado esa operación. Lo siento! Enviado desde mi GT-I9100 usando Tapatalk 2
12.76kg pesa mi Cube AMS RACE pesada con la bascula china que compre hace un año y pico y que no sabia por donde la tenia, esto de las mudanzas... :qmeparto Esto es ya con la tija Thomson Elite que me acaba de llegar, la BH rigida antigua tambien la he pesado y me da 12,42kg, a ver si le pongo la tija que he quitado a la Cube, le hago unas fotos y la pongo en venta. Por cierto, que calidad de acabados los de la Thomson :shock:
Thomson y KCNC son las mejores tijas que hay en aluminio. Será el próximo cambio junto a las ruedas :aplauso4 Esto es un no parar...
