Nope, that was a car forum. He said nothing about a Hei Hei.

The site from what he bought the Kona is this one:

    http://www.segundamano.es/

You have to pick up one province in Spain and there you go... For instance, try Madrid (just in the core of Spain). It´s a really big market for almost everything...

That USA Forum is pretty good. Especially for english speakers!. I hope it helps.

Hi folks! Today I went for a ride with Interaptor, who I might add is really getting in shape. If he keeps that up, and gets a road bike, only Contador and his ilk will be able to keep up with him
    :alabando

And thanks for the syringe you gave me today. I went right home and tried it out: oiled the chain of my hybrid bike and can see that that needle will be getting lots of use. You really can put the oil exactly where you want it. You don't waste the stuff by spraying it everywhere or whatever. Thanks!

And Mr Interaptor took me to Sports Zone, Alcobendas, where you can buy decent jerseys for just 18-20 euros, not only that but long-sleeved ones which I favor, so I bought two of them. Cost about half the normal price of a typical bike shop, and the quality is good. I bought one last year and it's still going strong, even after plenty of use. Yay SZ! tho I want to support my local bike shop too, but SZ has what I want and at the right price.

By the way Interaptor, that Cervélo you were looking at, well it looks like it'd cost 5,000 euros, and they're asking 550!? That has scam written all over it.

Hi kona nut! Before long you're going to be an internationally famous Kona nut, and one of the world's leading authorities on Konas

If you're ever in this neck of the woods we'll go for a ride. I'll show the mountain bike trails around here.

If I were you I'd consider getting a rain ready bike and start staying in shape. It's so worth it ;)

Oh, you´re welcome Chainring… and thank you very much for your kind words. I really had a pleasant ride to Alcobendas (this name will say nothing to our friend Kona, but as Penélope Cruz said at the Oscars Ceremonial to put it in the maps, it´s her birthplace… ;) ). You push much much more than I´m capable of, so it´s an honor for me to hear that… Contador will only be in troubles only if you decide to go to the Tour!

Yesterday was a weird day. It´s summer in Madrid and it´s supposed to be hot ( better to say scorching hot! :cuñao ) at the time we met up. But wind came to the rescue… Five minutes before the time of our get together, I saw at least two cyclists to put on additional long-sleeves jerseys not to protect their arms from the sun, but from the… slightly cold wind. I had to place myself in the sun after been waiting in the shade for just those 5 minutes… and my bike dropped due to heavy winds... A storm was around us, we could see it clearly all along the way. Finally didn´t attack us. :fumador

Now, for all of you who can see this and still use a spray can to lube your bike, or even a non-accurate can to drop liquid… I can´t think of a better way to efficiency lube your bike than a long and precise needle. It´s amazing how you can lube exactly whenever you want in terms of accuracy and quantity required. It´s also such a clean method that I´m beginning to suspect that it´s not included in all cans cause retailers need to sell more!. With the syringe´s marks your control is absolute. I just need 1.5-1.7 ml to have a great lubrication on my bike.

Yeah! We have to take advantage of those great prices from SZ. I hope their policy on prices to continue for a long time. Besides SZ Alcobendas has decent mechanics. Unfortunately you couldn´t see them as Victor is on holidays and Antonio wasn´t there at that moment. Steven, the guy over there, is not that good but friendly people anyway. Your jerseys are decent, inexpensive and very good looking. I also support local shops, but SZ should be a must see.

I´m afraid that Cervélo bargain could well be a total scam. I googled some details I retained and got the same bike to be sold in at least 5 or 6 provinces in Spain, but this time at different prices…for instance 999€. Don´t know if this bike is being honestly sold or as you say, has fake written all over it!

It´s a pretty professional description of a bike.

And these are some real photos of what is supposed to be the bike:

Finally, I have to say once again that you are really strong against the wind. Your solid steel hybrid bike (Kona, I like steel old school style) is 1.5- 2 kgms – once you rule out the “portabultos”- heavier than mine it was difficult for me to even follow you when we had headwinds on our way. I have a very long way to catch up. I see how difficult is to increase your average speed by just 0.2 kmts.

Kona, keep us up to day on your projects. Did you sing in that USA forum?. I´m sure there must be lovely Kona old school bikes collectors all over the States... You can always count on that, so many people over there...

Well, today Brian and I were riding out to Navacerrada on our skinnies when we had the great pleasure of overtaking Interaptor ;) Well, more like caught up with him, then the three of us rode together for a while.

So what a coincidence! I guess we're early risers around here, which makes sense because that way you can beat the heat, or at least the hottest part of the day. BTW, it was nice and cool at the top, there were even some people with sweaters on.

One thing about Kona is that they really have some imagination (and daring) when it comes naming their bikes, like the For Play and Sex One. They also have a bike called Stinky.

On another note, don't you think the coolest looking bikes are downhill bikes? Check out this video (by the way, there's a Kona in there).

Oh yeah, what a coincidence!!!. I do go ride on Saturdays early in the morning… Not too many people on the 607 bike lane at that early time in the morning, but It was my absolute pleasure when I heard something behind me, looked back and saw it was Chainring and Brian coming up on their fast rodies!.
They showed up from my back as if they were two of those F-18 jets on a scramble mission!. :vampire Their sound is just like psssssssssssssFFFFFFF here we goooo!!!. A Scattante and a Giant bike just behind me at six o´clock!. Visibility 10 kilometers or more, temperature 17 degrees, cruise speed over 30, over!... In seeing how hard they push and how elegant they are on their bikes, I remembered Cassius Clay´s words .. :boxing I float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.
This could be a great slogan for David, Brian and Juan Carlos when riding on their road bikes… “WE RIDE LIKE A BUTTERFLY, STING LIKE A BEE”… Not only because their style but the challenges they face: NAVACERRADA. When God though about putting you into difficulties as a biker I´m sure He though about this colossal hill. And presto! Here we go. David and Brian once again reaching the top of the Hill… Woww! Well done. They ride like a butterfly, sting like a bee…

    ;-) Cheers!

Gosh, thanks Interaptor, those are nice things to say. In any case, Brian was saying you're really going long and far for how long you've been pedaling (just 6 or 7 months). One of these days after patiently getting in shape and getting a road bike, you'll be doing Navacerrada with us. It's not as bad as you think (well, it is if you aren't ready).

Hi kona nut. That's when you're happy, when the talk turns to Konas.
