    Yeah, I was pretty tired.

I've never been there before, maybe I'll take you up on your offer sometime. Thanks!

BTW, here's a pic from my ride today in the Sierras.

Great pic Chainring! Summer has come here - at last! :)

Cooler and shade is vastly over rated!

    Great photo.
No over rated at all when it´s hot, Kanza. You Know, Madrid is cold in the winter, hot in the summer. Not bad, but I wish the Sierras were nearer. So many degrees lower there...

Indeed Madrid is cold in winter, took me by surprise actually. It is not that cold here although we do have the odd day it is during winter time, quite mild in the Ourense valley. I'm glad summer is here though, I'm a sun worshiper so it is my time of year through to winter again, love it. 37 here today at the moment need to get to the beach. It is nice though in the mountains, but i would think quite a drain in the city area at lower altitudes.

Oh yeah this week is scorching hot. I Went to ride just when the sun came up. A nice "city-bike" riding along the Castellana Ave. on my hybrid bike. Very pleasant, cool and relaxing way to start the day full of energy. It was great to see Some other guys city-biking to work. One bike, one less car.

    Cheers!.

Madrid is an oven these days. But like Interaptor, I got up early and went running at 8:00 in the morning, tho it would have been even better at 7:00. I definitely hope to go back to the Sierras this weekend.

My MTB will be ready by then. The guys at SZ are really helpful on the problem and will mount a new rear wheel for me.

Will pm you on the matter.

Roger that. So which SZ are you going to now?

Amazing, but like the article says, he was in a huge hurry because he wanted to break the record, so he really missed a lot. If I did that, I'd like to visit some of the places I was passing through; it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Will go by tube to SZ Islazul, and then back home on the “new-wheeled” bike via Anillo Verde. It is +- 30 kmts away from home. Count on me for that ride if everything´s ok!

Knee injury... that's really a drag. Sorry. Hope it gets better soon.

People sometimes combine biking with other hobbies and interests, in this case with a love for animals. Others combine it with photography and get some really fantastic photos. A lot of the bikers I know just really like being out in nature: I know that's my case!

thanks for your wishes it looks better today.

Bikers love nature, strolling, being out there makes you feel real nice. You don't even need a bike, it can be you and a mountain, a riverside walk, birdwatching, a steep run, bathing somewhere.... there are so many things to do

All right then, 1st of all I´d like to encourage jorgt to take care of himself. We all hope you feel better soon.
Secondly, since Kanza had seen Amber´s video and loves dry terrain, I wanna him and you all to see these DH-Marathon rounds. This particular one is located in France, but others take place in Peru and Reunion Island. Yes, it´s Megavalanche, one of the most famous MTB trials along with the XC World Cup at Offenbug -Ger-.
