IBIS MOJO HD3 FATTER

 

Hoy estamos felices de anunciar una actualización de la Mojo HD3. Con efecto inmediato y el envío de hoy, el Mojo HD3 se está construyendo con el estándar del eje Boost 148 mm. Y ya que estábamos adquisición de nuevas herramientas, decidimos hacer el marco Plus de neumáticos compatibles también.

En el último año, en las pruebas realizadas en el recientemente anunciado Mojo 3, nos dimos cuenta de que los nuevos neumáticos de tamaño más estaban entregando mejoras de rendimiento que muchos propietarios de HD3 o posibles propietarios desearían.

Con la llegada de la nueva norma eje Boost que la industria está adoptando, nuestros ingenieros fueron capaces de construir un nuevo basculante que mantiene el peso y la rigidez de la HD3 original, al tiempo que añade espacio adicional para acomodar los neumáticos Plus de 2.8 ".

Editado. No no, lo vi en un artículo de pinkbike que visitaban la fábrica y le hicieron fotos a eso.

 

No creo que sea la tija, ya la presentaron hace un tiempo y a esta última foto le están dando misterio en las redes.

Preciosa la bike aunque le sobran tantos colores. De hecho tengo la genius lt y va de fábula. Tal vez los componentes hope, aunque sean muy resistentes, le agregan bastante peso, a una bike bastante liviana para tener 170mm de recorrido.

 

Mejoras para la Reverb 2017, retén interno nuevo que sapara las cámaras de aire y aceite eliminando el juego vertical que tenian algunas y mayor separación entre casquillos que ofrece la posibilidad de hacer recorridos de hasta 170 mm.
Si la suben 100€ ya no será tan interesante ajajaja

Picture a dropper post, and the RockShox Reverb is probably one of the first images that comes to mind. It's one of the most commonly spec'd dropper posts on the market, appearing on everything from mid-level trail bikes all the way to exotic dream machines. The post has seen a few slight revisions since its introduction in 2010, but it recently received a complete internal reworking in order to increase its reliability, and to allow for the addition of a 170mm travel option.

What's different about the new version? Externally the post remains relatively unchanged, but according to SRAM, "all the smallest details, down to the single seal, have been re-evaluated and updated to pass the hardest and longest durability tests." That includes a new internal floating piston designed in conjunction with SKF, and increased bushing overlap, which should help to keep the post operating smoothly in adverse conditions. Like the previous iteration, the post's return speed can still be adjusted at the remote, but the new internals have allowed the maximum return speed to be increased, providing a more usable range of speed options.


The addition of a version of the Reverb Stealth with 170mm of drop is going to be welcome news for many riders, especially those on the taller side of the spectrum. It's foreseeable that the increased drop will allow companies to create frames where the top tube height and standover clearance aren't much different from size to size; taller riders will be able to use posts with 170 or 150mm of drop, while smaller frames (and riders) would use a post with 125mm of drop. Until now, posts with more than 150mm of drop had only been offered by smaller companies, which made them more of an aftermarket accessory rather than something you'd see offered on a complete bike. SRAM's entry changes this, and we'll likely be seeing the 170mm post appearing on larger frame sizes in the near future.

Yo lo que he entendido es que más adelante saldrán con más recorridos disponibles, o sea las primeras serán las más comunes de 100 y 125, y cuando hagan ya la salida para productos cuando toque sacarán la 150 fiable supongo y que igual se aventuran a sacar hasta 170.

 

Una cosa importante desde mi punto de vista es que las longitudes de 150 y 170 estarán disponibles para cualquier diametro y no solo para 31,6 como era el caso hasta ahora de la de 150mm
Y según creo, todas las longitudes van a estar disponibles ya
