Bueno chicos, llevo el fin de semana un poco "rallado" jijiji. Mañana ire a mi tendero a ver que me dice el, pero expongo aqui mi problema. Como ya dije, encarge una X-30 en talla M, mido 1.75m y 77cm de entre pierna. Viendo geometrias y comparandolas con las bicis que he tenido, estoy entre la S y la M en la rallon. He tenido una lapierre x-control, una zesty, una froggy y ahora llevo una msc hunter. Todas han sido talla M. Peeero, como bien he dicho, he estado comparando la longitud que da el fabricante de potencia a tija (EFF) y todas son diferentes (logico cada una es de una "categoria" diferente). Zesty y froggy dan 595mm y 585mm respectivamente, x control 595mm y la hunter que me da 604mm. Si bien es cierto, esta ultima llevo potencia de 35 y el sillin algo adelantado y si llevo 3 - 4 horas me duelen las lumbares. En la froggy llevaba potencia de 35 pero sillin en su sitio y muy agusto pedaleando y ningun dolor, en la zesty sillin en su sitio, potencia de 50 y super agusto tambien y ningun dolor. La rallon talla S da 582 y la M 606 Se que viendo todo esto parece estar claro que necesito una S, pero me da miedo que realmente una S quede demasiado pequeña, pero de lo contrario la M demasiado grande jajajajaja. Que opinais vosotros? Hay alguna manera de calcular el susodicho EFF? Cambio la M por una S? Gracias y perdon por el tocho post.
fransquier , can you speak english ? i am same as u , 175 cm and 80 inseam , i was so afraid of the same , was afraid the small is VERY small , and the medium is too big. i got the medium X30 and it fits well , just get shorter stem ( 35 or 50 ) , and believe me , if the bike is little bigger its not problem , but if very small that will SUCK! but take care that ur inseam is 77 and the standover height of the bike in medium is 770 mm , so make sure that u clear the top tube and not hit your "crotch" , if you can clear the top tube by 2 fingers , then buy medium , if you cant then go for the small, hope this helped you
Thanks for answer! This is the problem, my inseam... And the other problem is in my bike, i have problems in my back and the M size for X-30 is very similar. From seatpost to head tube has 606mm is so much and my bike has 604, mi back not support this... I don't know what to do... (cry)
but the rallon is different , the top tube maybe similar to your bike , but take in consideration that the head angle is 66\66.5 and the seat angle is 75 degrees , so that will make the bike feel more compact because of the slack head angel + steep seat tube combination. so i think u should just let your inseam decide for you , cause if the top tube is very high for your inseam , you cant change that , but if the medium feels bad for your back , you can move your saddle on the rails more toward the handlebar and this will give u more control , therefore no back pains let me know if you need help in anything else
Creo que mejor te quedaria la M, ademas puedes poner hasta potencia de 10mm, para ajustar la talla la On-Off Stoic

The geometry of your current bike is very similar to the Rallon , only 2 main differences , your bike's seat angle is slack (69) , which isnt good for pedalling and the rallon is 75 which is perfect , and the other thing is the wheelbase , your bike's wheelbase is 1143 which is average , and the Orbea is 1172 in medium which is really long but made the bike perfectly stable while going DH fast , i was worried at first that the long wheelbase of the rallon will make it hard to turn in twisty and tight slow trails but the the 420 cm chainstay made it so easy and made it very playful! VERYY!! but in the goemetry of the hunter they didnt say anything about the standover height , which could be a deal breaker for you to buy medium Rallon, also i forgot to tell you , i had very back pain every ride 1 year ago ,and i found out that it was because the seat (saddle) wasnt parallel with the ground , the nose of the saddle was pointing more to the ground , so make sure the saddle is neutral and hope this helps. if you will get X30 , then i really recommend upgrading to Mavic Crossone wheels instead of the mavic 319 because 319 weights 2400 gram! crossone weights 1880gram which will allow you to add a dropper seat post and still have the bike under 14.5 kg
The standover height is probarly this pictures? With "eye messure" (hahahaha) 830/840mm. This is usefull for you? Do i have to take size M? Really, thanks so much!!!!!
if you clear this 840 then GO FOR MEDIUM for sure! ;d if the medium felt a little bit big , so many things to make it feel smaller ( shorter stem , move saddle on rails more forward ) but if you get small and its too small , nothing u can do + the small in rallon has 420mm seat tube which is really small! and which will probably cause knee pains , ur hunter has 460! go for the medium bro btw i contacted orbea and asked them before i buy and the guy told me he is 172 cm and much better on the small , but it was maxed out! so he was sure that my size is medium , and most probably yours too glad i could help. keep asking if you need anything. 2 trek fuel ex. La última una ex 6 2010, una scott genius 40 muy bien montada, tuve una specialized stum fsr, esta la tuve en caracter de prestamo. Pero lo suficiente como para porder comparar. Me dejaron una remedy 8 y creo que poco mas. Ahhh, probé una r3, y lo dicho para mi esta es la mejor que tuve.
Buenas, yo mido 1 cm menos que tu y tengo una S y me queda como un guante, al igual que tu todas mis otras bicis han sido talla M

Correcto. Mi anterior bici fué un Banshee Rune en talla M con CCDB. Tengo que decir que con la Rallon llevo pocas salidas y todavía estoy en fase de adaptación reglajes y estas historias, por lo que tampoco voy a soltar aquí un ladrillo. Las dos son buenísimas bicis y, en mi opinion, en concepto son bastante parecidas. Buena geometría bajadora y ajustable, excelentes pedaleadoras, suspensiones de primera(dependiendo del montaje, claro). Si me pides que afine, me atrevería a decir que la Rune pedalea mínimamente mejor en abierto. Si le cierras al kirk de la Rallon no se mueve. Ahora con el CCDB CS, lo mismo en la Rune, supongo. Por contra, a la hora de los baches, da la sensación de que la Rallon es, sin duda, más sensible que la Rune. Las suspensiones Bos es lo mejor que he probado nunca, sobre todo la Deville. He tenido Fox y RS de aire y muelle(lyric, totem, pike no, se siente) y lo de Bos esta a otro nivel. En marcha y para abajo me gusta de la Rallon que es muy ágil a la hora de despegarla del suelo y cambios de dirección. Pesa un kilo menos que mi antigua Rune. La Rune, por contra, parecía un poco más rigida de atrás, pero nada preocupante. De hecho debe haber pocas bicis más rígidas que la Rune, menuda tanqueta. También puede tener algo que ver que las Crossmax SX de 26" sean algo más rígidas que las Enduro de 27,5", que lo son. En cuanto a las tallas en la Rune iba con una M y en La Rallon cogí una S. Y voy mucho más cómodo. En definitiva y de momento, muy contento con el cambio. Pero las dos unas máquinas, que no se enfade nadie. Saludos. Al final salió un ladrillo.
