Thank you for this information. Unfortunately I wasn`t aware that we offer 4 years of warranty for a very short term. I did research this news. Here the result: That was an internal mistake/misunderstanding from our IT who set`s the homepage. Basically we`ve had 3 years warranty in 2014. Nevertheless for customers who bought the bikes within this short time period the 4 years warranty will remain. Regarding your case, and like I already mentioned: It won`t make any different between 3 or 4 years warranty because we will repair or replace the frame “if there is really a production error” anyway! But currently this is not confirmed! That is why I can`t offer you a free return label! This will not change. Please send us the failure parts like I did already mentioned on your expense. I´m sure you understand that I can`t discuss this topic further more. Further E-Mails therefore will not be replied from my side. Con YT siempre para lo mismo o hay raja..... o toca pagar envio.... aunque si hay defecto, reclama la devolucion de gastos de envio
A ver si me aclaro. Dice que lo de los cuatro años fue un error del informático que hizo la página pero que mantiene la garantía de cuatro años a los clientes que compraron la bici en el periodo de tiempo en que estuvo publicado el error. Y cuál es ese periodo de tiempo?
De todas maneras, con la movida que hubo por la patilla de cambio que nos enviaron una patilla rediseñada por correo a todo el mundo, a alguien le suena que dijeron que ampliaban la garantía 1 año para compensar las cagadas de la primera versión del cuadro?
Le echa bastante cara, pero lo que dice es que él no va a pagar el envío hasta que no vean el problema y confirmen que está provocado por un defecto de fabricación. Si lo hay, lo repararán o sustiturá sin coste (y entonces entiendo que te deberían reembolsar el envío que tú adelantaste). Pero podrían decidir que el crujido no viene del cuadro (si es de un componente como la horquilla o la dirección ya estaría fuera de garantía de 2 años), o que el crujido viene de un impacto, accidente, o mal uso por tu culpa. Y entonces no te reembolsarán los gastos de envío, te preguntarán si quieres comprarles un cuadro nuevo que con suerte te ofrecerán a menor precio, y tampoco los gastos de envío de regreso. Vaya, yo antes de enviarlo me aseguraría que es un problema del cuadro defectuoso y que lo cubrirá la garantía, sino te harán pagar por todo.
Claro.... La gracia es que dice que si el problema es de fabricacion el dinero de mi envio no lo devuelven!!!! Pa echarase a llorar!!!! Le e respondido que ahora que a reconocido que aun esta en garantia que si me devolveran el dinero si es culpa de fabricacion.... A ver que responde, si esque responde!!! Recuerdo que cuando cambie mi cuadro por el mismo problema, hablamos por privado porque a tu te ocurria lo mismo y ya entonces te decian que pagaras tu el envio, pero de esto ya hace mas de un año. Todavia estas igual?? Vaya tela....... Con lo contento que estoy yo de YT!!
En la página 8 de este foro, el 1 de marzo de 2014 alguien copió y pegó esto sobre la garantía, otro error del informático que hizo la página????: GuaranteeBeginning with 2014, we grant you an additional warranty for 5 years. For bikes until modelyear 2013 in the category “Trail” we grant you an additional warranty of 4 years. This is without prejudice to your statutory rights and your contractually agreed guarantee claims. 1. Above and beyond our statutory duty to provide a warranty, we guarantee you that the frame of all bikes of the modelyear 2014 and later will remain free from material defects and defects inworkmanship for a period of five years from delivery. Besides that, we will guarantee that the frame of bikes in the “Trail” category until modelyear 2013 will remain free from material defects and defects in workmanship for a period of four years from delivery. This guarantee does not extend to include parts subject to wear and tear or damage to paintwork/anodisation. A bent or broken derailleur hanger (the part of the dropout to which the rearderailleur is attached). This is aresult of overload or incorrect adjustment. This component is designed to break and preventsdamage to the frame and derailleur caused by excessivestress. Our voluntary guarantee only applies to the initial purchaser of the product and requires a copy of the original sales voucher.

Por lo que he visto en este foro: - el 1 de marzo 2014 alguien pega un texto que pone 5 años de garantía - el 2 de agosto 2014 alguien pega un texto que pone 4 años de garantía - el 30 de junio 2014 yo pego un texto que pone 4 años de garantía No sé en qué momento alguien se da cuenta que lo han cambiado a 3 años. Sería bueno averiguarlo para saber el “error” del informático cuánto tiempo ha estado publicado
observando el foro, creo que la gente (muchos) lo cambiara de bici antes de terminar la garantia (sea 2...3 o 4 años!)
pero cuando van a salir las nuevas capricas .se sabe algo el porque, ya cambiarion todas las otras menos las capra y estamos a febrero y nada
Si la que sale en el video es la nueva, han cambiado el basculante entero y a mi me ha parecido que se parece a la ibis mojo con una especie de x en triangulo.
